Bebeh gave me some treats (not actually a fun treat because of the pain and annoying noise and feeling of drilling your tooth)..hehe but it is a very practical one..

oral hygiene that we usually ignore (for me its the financial block that stumbles my regular visit to the dentist. but i hope this will be a start of a regular visit to save my few teeth that are still surviving..hehe i already lost 5 molars..hope the casualty ends..

Trip to Cagayan Valley

ROAD BLOCK
We are so excited to travel but series of events change our mood into disgust, heavy rains pouring in Urdaneta City, the first bus could not accommodate us, we had to wait for 30 minutes or more in an umbrella pounded by heavy rains carrying our baggages.
When the bus arrived (ordinary) we had no choice but to board in to escape the rain. We thought that was start of a nice road trip, but after 3 hours of travelling the worst traffic experience I had in my life came, we are immobile for 4 agonizing hours! (ordinary bus = oven toaster) though it was a night trip the humid atmosphere is there the rain dig not help at all because you have to close every window.

The traffic was caused by a road repair but worsen by undisciplined drivers who could not wait for their turn and tried to make their until a huge bottle neck emerge ( a trailer derailed due to miscalculated loop).

When the bus got out of traffic I thought our misfortune is over but heck the bus broke! the driver is unwilling to explain what happen only told us that the bus could no longer travel, we had to transfer. Morning already broke when a transfer bus reach where we are stuck for an hour.

Then series of many traffics again! so many road blocks so many road repairs and same pain in the a$$ drives who could not wait for their turn.

at last we reached Cauayan, Isabela, where bebeh grew up. it was 9:00 in the morning after 16 hours of travelling. We boarded a van for our ultimate destination, a weird van (meron conductor..haha)..We arrived at Macapagal avenue, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan at exaclty 11:30 almost 20 hours of non-stop travelling - a new personal record..

PANCIT
We had to rest for the entire afternoon after a long travel but worthy travel, bebeh got to see his little "pamangkins" and their joy replenish us quickly. In the late morning, bebeh gave me a treat, the Famous BATIL- PATONG, a special delicacy of Tuguegarao, a sautéed noodles with savory toppings.

DALIN-RETURN

Yes, it was a short trip, in the afternoon we had to pack and leave for the last bus, the cries of Dotdot made my heart heavy, even heavier for bebeh as Dotdot don't want her to leave.

Luckily the fear of another traffic nightmare is gone on our way back! A short vacation on a thousand mile land. Hopefully we could go back their and will have a longer vacation.

Be careful in some text that claims they've changed their number into another network at that they need to room it and pretends to be your relative asking a favor to load the new number with some amount..

text like this should be considered or treated as scam if you can't verify the new number, best thing to do is call the number right away, don't entertain it with text replies even if he will mention some names that are credible, remember Facebook, some of your detailed info are already there ready to be exploited.

Too bad that sim cards are so cheap that con artists capitalize on it, and our TELCOS have no protection to us valid and honest subscriber, the NTC is also useless in tracing such low life as well..

First choice BDO, They need 2 IDs, She ain't got one, her school ID has expired.
We visited NBI, to get some NBI Clearance and to see if it is accepted as an ID, she earlier got a Voters Certification (alternative to Voter's ID cause it would take years to get one)

The rain poured hard, were stuck on a fast food chain, Jolibee our fave..hehe

we saw BPI, and we decided to give it a try.

She'll be back by Wednesday, for the ATM

so NBI Clearance can be considered as an ID, good thing!

*nice free concert to start the celebration of pistay dayat, join the club open the program with some good music of their own, and some covers, not sure though if their lead guitarist is lazy or doesn't know some of the solo's of their cover songs, he "lazily just fingered his guitar on some occasions thrusting its guitar on mic stands.

baywalk - did some acts that turn the atmosphere into a cheap beerhouse..lol

spongecola - made the night great jam..

bad weather - but bebeh's desire and mine nevertheless take the road to watch some free concert

stage 2 (kapuso talents)

pekto and charise solomon handled some parlor games
some singing by these stars yasmine kurdi, riza xenon, china urtaliza and katrina halili

rain poured, crowd became uncontrollable jumping barricade (stars issue walk out warning) took 30 minutes to talk with the crowd

bamboo - great performance, great crowd as well did not mind the pouring rain and jam all the way..

going home, hassle.. loaded jeepneys, (some drivers put extra fair charge! takin' advantage..

we decided to cool down at jolibee,,,yum yumm

emil's penpen...cultural rock..i can appreciate once in a while but not to sing along with them..totally not a common crown drawer..but nice to be proud of its own music.
